Storm II is the most successful robot currently competing in the world today in terms of the speed that it made it's TV debut to becoming World Champion.  Just 9 months went by from Storm II appearing on BBC2's Robot Wars and winning the New Blood competition to being crowned the Robot Wars World Champion at RAF Newton.

Storm II was designed from the ground up to be a competition winner rather than a crowd pleaser, like the software of one of it's sponsors (VMWare), Storm II is small, compact and designed to do exactly what it says on the tin, time... after time..... after time.

There have been two versions of Storm II, one that appeared on BBC2's Robot Wars in the New Blood competition and the second generation which appeared in Series 7 of Robot Wars and went on to be crowned World Champion.

With the help of our sponsors we are already looking to build a new robot in 2009, the third robot to carry to world-championship winning Storm name.  What have we got in mind, something that raises the bar to a new level, just as Storm II in 2002 raised the bar higher than anyone thought it could go !
